Edward Bruno represents physicians, nurses, dentists, psychologists, and other licensed professionals in licensing and disciplinary hearings.  He also represents health care institutions including hospitals, clinics, and retail pharmacies. From time to time he has represented professional societies including the Illinois Psychological Association and the Illinois State Medical Society.

As the former Chief of Prosecutions, Deputy Director, Controlled Substance Hearing Officer, and Chief Administrative Law Judge, he has prosecuted disciplinary cases in more than 30 licensed professions regulated by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.  Other state agencies represented include the Illinois Departments of Public Health, Alcoholism and Substance Abuse, Health Facilities Planning Board, Racing Board and the office of the Secretary of State.  He has authored administrative regulations for several administrative agencies.

Mr. Bruno has handled administrative cases in numerous state and federal agencies including Professional Regulation, Public Health, Drug Enforcement Administration, Social Security and Internal Revenue Service.  Administrative decisions have been appealed to Illinois Chancery Courts and Illinois Appellate Courts on behalf of both governmental and private clients. 

Mr. Bruno is licensed in Illinois and California.  He is a member of the federal trial bar, and is authorized to practice in the Supreme Court of Illinois.  He holds both a Juris Doctor and Master of Laws degrees (J.D. and LL.M.) from John Marshall Law School in Chicago.

Joseph Bruno has spent his entire professional career since May 2007, defending professionals charged with licensing violations. Joseph has participated in numerous formal hearings and proceedings before the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation and the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services.

Mr. Bruno has also helped clients who appeared before the Drug Enforcement Administration. From the time he first became licensed in May 2007, Joseph has had direct client contact, been involved in planning, strategy, and trial preparation to get the best outcome for clients. Joseph graduated from John Marshall Law School in Chicago. 

In May 2020, Joseph took a Senior Counsel position at the American Bar Association in Chicago, Illinois.
